Former Navy SEAL • Founder • Author • Storyteller • Veteran & First Responder Advocate

Ryan “Birdman” Parrott is a former Navy SEAL who served eight years with SEAL Team Seven, including three deployments to Iraq. After completing his second enlistment in 2010, Ryan transitioned out of the military and founded Sons of the Flag, a nonprofit focused on improving burn care for veterans, first responders, and civilians.
He later launched Birds Eye View Project, blending extreme sports with mission-driven fundraising, and led the 7X Project—seven skydives/BASE jumps, swims, and marathons on seven continents in seven days—to raise awareness for the mental and physical toll of service.
Ryan is also a published author, storyteller, patent holder, podcast host of The Frogman Friday Show, and a passionate advocate for veteran and first responder communities. Above all, he is a devoted husband, proud father, and once-hopeful giant tortoise trainer. A Michigan native, he now lives in Texas.

Artisan Charity Foundation honors and serves veterans, first responders, their families, and those in need through education, mentorship, and professional craftsmanship.
